Coral Wood

Born from the desire to bring together the most beautiful artisanal creations of Reunion Island in a unique place, Bois Corail is what one could call an endemic concept store, like the flower of which it is the emblem.

From decoration to delicatessen, including art and fashion, the creations offered for sale on this site all have one thing in common: they are designed and manufactured locally.

Bois Corail supports these “artis(t)ans” – artisans and artists from Reunion Island –, promotes products made on the island, and is dedicated to creating a real community, in love with refinement, hand-made products and short supply chains.

Art of Braiding

The Art de la Tresse Company works on plant fiber (vacoa) used for the production of various hand-made objects sold on the various markets of Reunion Island.

It also represents our heritage and our local know-how. A profession that needs to be preserved for the Reunion culture and which deserves to be passed on to new generations.

The Silk Velvet Workshop

Sabrage is one of the textile finishing processes that gives a fabric its final appearance. Sabrage, also called sabre velvet, is used to create velvety patterns in relief. In the middle of the 19th century, it was practiced by a silk maker from Saint-Etienne, Charles Rebour.

Artisan in Provence

This artist creates lavender spindles and other artisanal products in Provence. Each creation is handmade and reflects the cultural and artisanal heritage of the region.
